The Cross Foxes Newsletter, January 2022

Welcome to the first newsletter of 2022. A Happy New Year to all!

So... what's happening in 2022 for contacts, customers and friends?

In the recent weather here in Trawsfynydd only the hardcore went out riding and ended up miscalculating and doing the last 14 miles into a 50 mile head wind. Meanwhile everyone else has been eating, drinking and being merry, something we do very well at the Cross Foxes.

Connaire Cann is working with us this year to run many different events from our base. These will include trekking, expeditions, bike rides and bespoke courses.

On 21st January he is doing a talk on 21st century expeditions.

He will be doing a guided trek in the Rhinogs on the 22nd January, call us for details.

Dart's Thursday's

Darts Thursdays every week. While the leagues are temporarily closed there will be practice nights starting January 13th with two boards and an open competition the same night for anyone interested. Phone Ben for details on 07506710820

Poker nights

Here at The Cross Foxes we have weekly poker nights every Friday. We currently have a well attended squad of players but we are always looking for new talent.

Staying at The Cross Foxes

More and more groups are enjoying the bunkhouse style rooms, the excellent food and the two very different bars. So far biking groups, families reunions and walkers have been our first guests but there is so much to do... get planning!

We are very accommodating for large groups. If you want to explore with your family, friends, work team etc. then enquire through our group accommodation page or give us a ring.

We can also arrange many activities for your group and provide packed lunches for your big adventures.

New Year, New You

Make your New years resolution to get back into nature and explore the more extreme edge of Snowdonia, whether on foot, bike or in the water.

From peaceful mines to explore to the rough waters of White water rafting. The wide range of activities means there's something to suit everyone!

Hear it from our clients

"An amazing warm welcome as we popped into this village for a bite to eat and a drink. Food was amazing (the Welsh Faggott's sensational!) and they were very accommodating of an allergy in the group. Super friendly staff." Jon Lawton

"The Cross Foxes staff are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Rooms are lovely and a great price! The surrounding area is bliss, and there is a lot of walks and activities nearby! 5 stars from me." Ben Gaskell

"Absolutely superb. Great food, comfy accommodation, the bar is fantastic and staff are friendly and helpful. Had a fantastic weekend here with some friends for mountain bike trip, can't wait to get back there 👍" Jeremy Winters

Come and find out for yourself. See you this year.
